The staff was very very helpful, so I would definitely return here. Came here for a trip, had a fantastic 1 day overall. - Reasonably large and functional room with a nice view of the autumn-colored mountains. - the bed was comfy, and the pillows too.

The unit we got was fairly quiet with the Japanese garden and a pleasant view. The location of the hotel was amazing, up to Kobo Dashi's shrine. The place was luxurious, we will be returning here soon;))

Authentic experience, with traditional Japanese vegetarian cuisine. Location is excellent, with easy access to main attractions. the room was nicer than expected, with a spacious layout and comfortable futons.
Price is steep for basic accommodations. Common area bathrooms need better cleaning.

Conveniently tucked away in a secluded area, this place being off the beaten path was a plus 😊.

We had a wonderful stay at this temple in Koyasan. the food was exquisite and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Our room was spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. the morning prayer ceremony was a unique and humbling experience, allowing us to observe the monks in their daily rituals. the temple's proximity to the Okuno-in cemetery and the bus stop was very convenient. Despite being a monastery, the lodging provided us with ample heating and comfortable accommodations.
Cons: No complaints whatsoever.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming temple accommodation nestled amidst the tranquil beauty of nature. The hotel's location, near the mesmerizing Ukono-in cemetery entrance, offered a truly breathtaking experience. The rooms were cozy and well-appointed, with the added bonus of a small patio overlooking the stunning gardens. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a delightful stay. The breakfast, which was included in the room rate, provided a tasty start to the day.
This hotel provided a wonderful experience with no major areas for improvement.
